There was a wasp in my room this afternoon. I huddled on my bed in fear as my brother chased the angry little thing around with various things lying around my room, not helping the wasp's mood or my trembling self.
Which leads me to a question: What are you afraid of that doesn't make much sense?
In addition to wasps, I fear needles, poisonous snakes (I'm always afraid I'll step on one in the woods) and am deathly afraid of electric fences.
I'm looking forward to hearing these answers :)
I got shocked by an electric fence last week. No joke.

I'm not sure that I'm afraid of anything "that doesn't make sense" I think the in general girls are for that. That's why "knights in shining armor" are so cool. Guys like that stuff and girls hate that stuff for a reason :)
ReplyDeleteI think realistically. I'm afraid of the unknown. Or afraid of the "what if's" in some cases. Not secure.

ReplyDeleteHmm...I am terrified of killing things, although I hate pesky bugs (but i do like lady bugs and such "cute bugs") but have having to kill such "un-cute" bugs.
and terrified of peoples thoughts and opinions of me...
and of gas stations!!!! I hate, hate, hate, loath, and scared to death of gas stations!!
thats all I can think of at the moment, although I am sure I could continue! :)

Oh! and stinging bugs. I am terrified of bees, hornets, yellow jackets, and such. Never been stung yet, although I am sure the day is fast approaching!

ReplyDeleteActually I did remember something. Zane is deathly afraid of caterpillars...it's a weird fear but. Dustin and I...well. He had a bad experience when he was little :)
My mom is scared of frogs and lizards. Just yesterday I had to run to her rescue from a harmless tree frog...

ReplyDeletei too am a girl =) and i highly dislike lizards and squirls inside my house(thank you anthony and his wonderful dog). fat, some food, SNAKES! i am scared of snakes. incase you don't remember that phone convo we had a long time ago. I am very scared of loosing my voice complertely! =) i'm sure there are more.. =)
and to the guys. night in shining armor is good. don't get my wrong but if y'all were afraid of stinging bugs, snakes, etc... we'd me scared for you.
Michael... wow you left a lot of comments. Ick - electric fence doesn't sound pleasant... a wasted life is indeed scary... and I would imagine that delivering pizzas anywhere would be creepy (esp. to a trailer park...)

Jillian... your comment made me laugh the most. It's nice that we don't have to be tough :) I'm not really afraid of un-cute bugs unless they look mean... because I don't want them to bite or sting or anything. Yes, yes... thoughts and opinions here too. Gas stations are quite possibly the creepiest places ever! They're the reason that I have a debit card... paying inside... *shudder* Never been stung either but I'm afraid I will be soon... you should have seen me hiding for cover in my own room as that wasp flew around. I kept telling it to go away but those silly bugs never listen!
Emily... I'm sorry it kept deleting your comments! I'm quite glad you're a girl :) Never had a squirrel inside my house but I AM afraid to run one over or something... oh, there's another fear... I'm afraid that I'm going to run over a person someday (horribly morbid I know). I don't mind lizards, but I don't want them to get lost inside because they always die in the air vent and then the house smells bad... I remember you shrieking on the phone that time... for a garden snake :) but I would have done the same "just in case" it was poisonous - you never know. Losing your voice completely would not be good.
Yes guys... we're glad you don't share the same fears because that would be a most unfortunate situation... to have all of us running around in fear of... un-cute bugs (;) sorry Jillian!).
